St Andrews Day Concert

Finish off St Andrew’s Day in style by joining Dundee Symphony Orchestra in the magnificent Caird Hall for a programme of music inspired by Scotland. Berlioz’s Rob Roy Overture, with Scots Wha Hae at its core, starts things off, before the orchestra is joined by violinist Maya Iwabuchi for Bruch’s stunning Scottish Fantasy. Mendelssohn’s third symphony, the Scottish, brings the curtain down on this St Andrew’s Day celebration.

We are delighted to be joined in this concert by the incredible young musicians from Dundee’s Instrumental Music Service and their trad group Ceol Dun Deagh, led by Pipe Major Derek Potter RVM.

So get your tickets, your kilt or your tartan trews and make a St Andrew’s Day date with DSO.
