Imperial Classical Ballet brings The Nutcracker to Caird Hall, City Square, Dundee, on Saturday 24 October 2026 at 7.30pm, with live orchestral accompaniment.

Clara’s Christmas Eve adventure begins with a gift: a wooden nutcracker that becomes the centre of a magical journey. Enchanted toys, wintry scenes and dances from the Kingdom of Sweets unfold to Tchaikovsky’s score, including the Waltz of the Flowers and the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.

The performance is part of Amande Concerts’ 20th Anniversary Season. The combination of classical dancing, production scenery and a live orchestra offers an autumn evening of ballet for audiences in Dundee and the surrounding area.

Running time is approximately 2 hours 10 minutes, including a 20-minute interval. The approximate finishing time is 9.40pm.

Tickets: adults £37.50–£42.50 and children £27.50, including the advertised booking fee. Concessions and family tickets are available; additional online or telephone transaction fees may apply.
